ALFORD G. HENDRICK
ALFORD G. HENDRICK, farmer, Franklin, Heard County, Georgia, son
of James A. and Martha (Crosby) Hendrick, was born in Heard County July 24, 1855. He grew to manhood
on the farm and was educated at the near-by country schools, and the academy in Franklin. At the age
of nineteen he engaged in mercantile business and continued in it four years.
